Our calculator uses our measurement engine which is accredited by the Smart Freight Centre (SFC) to be in conformance with the GLEC Framework, meaning our carbon emissions measurement technology meets industry-leading standards for accuracy and reliability.
To receive this accreditation, a company must meet rigorous criteria and adhere to the GLEC Framework's guidelines. We consider various factors that contribute to emissions, such as fuel consumption, distance travelled, transport mode and specific activity data.
By following these standardised methods, we ensure that our calculations are accurate, consistent and comparable across different industries and geographies.

Yes, we consolidate and standardise emissions data from all your suppliers, eliminating inconsistencies and enabling accurate, actionable insights.
Yes, we can collect both shipment and/ or emissions data from multiple sources, including (i) externally calculated emissions and (ii) shipment data uploaded by your freight forwarders or (iii) shipment data directly supplied by you from your TMS/ freight system.
If shipment data is provided, we will then calculate the corresponding emissions.
We leverage built-in data quality controls when shipment information is shared by logistics suppliers, ensuring that the relevant inputs to calculate emissions in conformance with the GLEC framework are included in your logistics suppliers’ data submissions.
Additionally, we provide a data quality score for each calculation with a feature called Accuracy™. This score follows the Smart Freight Centre’s guidance and offers more clarity on the quality of the various data sources and granularity used to calculate emissions. You can find out more here.
